The Other Half of Asperger syndrome is a one-day workshop intended for the non-Asperger partner who is in a relationship with a man or woman on the Autism spectrum.
The workshop will run on Friday 21st September 2018 and Friday 8th February 2019 from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm and will be an interactive day of sharing, exercises and learning with a focus on building self-esteem and confidence.
Delegates will spend the day increasing their understanding of Asperger syndrome and how it will affect both themselves and the relationship. We will explore options and seek to create a way to develop strategies and coping skills to help make life more manageable and positive. There will be time to discuss together what support might be put into place, time for questions and time for discussions with others that are in a similar situation.
Workshops are specifically for the non-Asperger partner in a relationship.
Maxine's workshops have been run in the past and proved to be highly successful.
The workshops will be held in Coventry with a view to becoming National.
