Raising Awareness in Asperger Syndrome

Hearing up-to-date, knowledgeable content from a trainer who not only 'knows her stuff' but has managed to bridge the gap between professional experience and real life situations.

I liked all of it but the role plays brought issues alive. Deepened my awareness of Aspergers and has given me tools and strategies to use with my clients. Excellent course, jam packed full and sensitively presented.

Asperger Syndrome in the Bedroom

Most liked the pace, content and delivery. Excellent, Maxine's sessions are always thought provoking and fascinating and I always learn so much I can take in to my practice. Thank-you!
Nottingham Relate Counsellor

Sensory sensitivity particularly helpful to be aware of to engage AS clients. Gender ID and sexuality - challenging questions. All has been really useful. Body zone strategies useful for more transparent understanding and communication.
Relate Counsellor Nottingham

Most liked discussions, opening up and expanding upon the slides and key points - really smashing, excellent pace and flexible. Learned that half of the couples that I have worked with were possibly Asperger's affected. Thank-you for a most informative and enlightening day - my curiosity just got BIGGER!
COSRT Psychosexual Therapist

Thank-you Maxine for your clear paperwork and style of sharing your knowledge. I knew a lot about what was shared but somehow the way Maxine shared it made it easier to digest and really appreciate my role within my own relationship as well as choices I make regarding counselling style with clients. Thank-you!

Raising Awareness in Adolescents affected by Asperger Syndrome

Good explanations around how people with Aspergers struggle through the adolescent stage of life. Learned how to be alert in recognising Aspergers and some useful ways to work effectively with AS clients. Great course - more please!
Relate Mid-Yorkshire Counsellor

All of it was useful and informative. Case studies enabled me to think I could use a lot of information I learned on the course and now had some tools. Learned different ways of conserving the resources of a person with ASD to avoid overload. Brilliant, informative and interesting. Thank-you!
